Air is essential to every living thing on earth. We are able to take pride in the clean air we all enjoy. And we want to keep it this way.

The Government of Alberta's Clean Air Strategy outlines:

• The most important issues associated with energy productions and use; and
• Achievable actions Albertans can take to reduce emissions.

The strategy is currently being renewed as part of the Alberta government’s commitment to securing the best air quality management system for the province.

Alberta Environment, air quality management zones, Environment Canada, and industry operate a comprehensive network of nearly 140 air quality monitoring stations across Alberta that measure the ambient air quality.
