Ministry structureAlberta Environment and Water is organized into five main business divisions: Strategy, Policy, Monitoring and Science, Operations and Corporate. In addition to these divisions, Alberta Environment and Water's work is supported by Communications and Environmental Law.
Reporting agenciesThe Minister of Environment and Water is responsible for the Environmental Appeals Board which reports directly to the Minister. In addition, the Minister oversees the work of the Beverage Container Management Board; Alberta Used Oil Management Association; Alberta Recycling Management Authority (electronics, tires and paint).
