Access to Information
Alberta Environment is committed to openness and transparency for all Albertans by continuing to make more and more information available to the public without having to go through the formal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPP) process.
There are three different ways to get the information you need:
- Publicly available information uploaded on Alberta Environment's website, including reports and other documents that are in searchable, online databases
- Routine disclosure documents that are publicly available, but not yet uploaded to the internet or searchable database
- FOIPP documents that are protected under legislation - this should be considered a last resort
